Membership in the Sovereign Military Order of the Temple of Jerusalem is by invitation only. There are only about two thousand Knights and Dames in the United States, joining others from most Christian nations in the world. Each year, only a few more Knights and Dames are added to our Order. Membership is increased to accept men and women who have demonstrated in their lives a willingness to give of themselves and their possessions to help others, never only to simply have more members. As you consider making application, please remember it is an International Chivalric Order with charitable purposes. Membership is a call to serve.
